The EA-96 Phantom is a fun little craft that uses VTOL takeoff and landing. To take off, throttle to 50% and bring the VTOL all the way up. Or you could do it the fun way and throttle to 13%(hover percentage) and slowly increase the percentage until you reach a high percentage (50%) and then VTOL up.
