Zarastillan Empire Angel de Guerra V
First entering service in late 2212, the Angel de Guerra series of fighter craft had been designed by the Zarastillan Empire's Comisión de Aeronáutica, with the help of Paul Fric, a noted aircraft designer and manufacturer native to the Falkenberg Kingdom. Though underfunded, the Zarastillan aeronautics industry was quick to adapt to manufacturing, with the same being said for the newly founded Cuerpo Aéreo, who with the help of foreign adversaries, came to speed with this new technology being put into service.
With a traditional biplane layout, 565 hp Fric Radial Engine, and heavy armament consisting of three 7mm machine guns, the Angel de Guerra was extremely modern for the standards of the time and had impressed numerous spectators in it's unveiling at the Imperial Ball in 2213. The Angel de Guerra did not see frontline service until 2214, when the Estroarian Revolutionary War broke out, with air units being deployed immediately to suppress rebels in the east. Being fielded primarily as a light attack aircraft due to the new Estroarian Peoples Air Fleet being rather small, the craft saw success early in the war, being equipped with hand dropped bombs and armor plates in the front cowling. In addition to this, the aircraft used by the Peoples Air Fleet, were made up of obsolete Vernon-Hall V.350's, who despite putting up a fight, outlasted their stay on the battlefield. Despite this, the war was beyond the air, with the Estroarian's winning their independence in a brutal guerilla war that lasted 2 more years.
Though continuing to see service until the mid 2220s, the Angel de Guerra would eventually be assigned to reserve and training duty in the coming times, following the adoption of more modern craft. The type would also see limited service in the Falkenberg Kingdom, with the designation FF.801(Z)
