A massive product improvement of the A-10C, A contract was released for a replacement of the A-10 and Textron was awarded the contract and designed the A-10X Super Warthhog, Parts of the aircraft were completely redesigned but other parts such as the engines and gun could be reused, This allowed for a brandnew airframe using original parts. Wing geometry has changed for better manauverability, The Fuselage is sleeker and engine nacelles are now on a swivel to vector thrust. The GAU-8 avenger is put on a flexible mount allowing it to be trained up or down allowing the aircraft to fire downwards without having to dive. This is a fictional design but it's how I imagine a true A-10 replacement could look like.
