Developed as a project by the HSDA, the Dragonbird came into fruition when the need for a Multirole Carrier based aircraft in order to replace the already aged Silver Legend, First flown in 2004, the Dragonbird had two variants; the "Ruby" Version - a heavier, more armed aircraft with possible 10 hardpoints and two Vulcan Cannons, and the "Sapphire" Version - a lighter, more nimble jet that supported the "ruby" versions with its ECM and other radar jamming equipment.
