PDI Ardent M6A5 AUTO MBT
Controls are the same as the previous variant, with the exception of the omission of the loader's MG. An M6A5 with a modified turret, designed to accomodate an automatic loader for the 155mm gun. The loader's position is now taken up by an automatic loader derived from the system used on the Royal Love-class and North Point-class cruisers, and is capable of firing 4 shots a minute. A chute on the top of the turret was added, protected by a manually-opened cover, in order to load shells into the automatic loader before combat.
The design of the chute means that as long as the operator drops the round in with the nose facing to the front of the turret, the round will be upright inside the carousel magazine. The momentum of the falling round will rotate the carousel so that a new round can be fed. The magazine must be in the standard feed position relative to the gun and the carousel must be set to the inital load position. A light indicator was to be added, however trials indicated that it was not necessary since the loud impact of the round shifting the carousel was sufficient. The carousel can also be reloaded in the vehicle via boxes under the turret basket through a port. Again, initial load position must be set, but the carousel must be moved via lever.
The carousel contains 20 shots, floor containers contain an additional twenty. Including the round loaded in the gun, this allows for a 41 round capacity. If the autoloader is disabled in combat, the system can be deactivated and lowered so that the gunner or commander can manually load the shells without having to maneuver over the mechanism.
This example's hull is a proper M6A5 hull, featuring improved sloping and armor angles on the hull.

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Your nation will be destroyed in its attempt to destroy ours. So many soldiers will die that there will be entire villages and towns where there are only women and old men.
We may not necessarily be able to stand up to your armies eventually, but how much are you willing to sacrifice to achieve your aims?
@Pilotmario The Price is infact my nation as you said. however it will be your trace of this RP. it will be wiped out. regardless of your talks.
@Pilotmario My tanks use HEAT-FS and APDS-FS
@Gmanndo1000 Sure!
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation You may be able to do so, but we'll make you pay for it.
The price is your country.
Nice tank! Could we use this Autoloading system with our new tanks?
@GoldenEagle To many words Lel.
Sigh. do we need to go over this again? we can demolish the Paternian Republic and there's no two ways about it. @Supermini555 @exosuit @Mudkip
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
Yea@Supermini555
I'm an all-rounder @exosuit , so that i am worried about
Im the airforce not the army hih@Pilotmario
... Welp... I guess Im on track since Im creating a new MBT... 1500mm of effective armour, not counting slopes... Well, all the best and may the best nation win! @Pilotmario
@Supermini555 Yup. The 120mm M5 and the 90mm M3 could penetrate up to 1500mm of RHAe with APFSDS at 500m. The 155mm M8 could do the same at ranges of 1000m.
You meant the previous weapons went through 250mm of compressed ceramic armour, which gives 750mm of effective armour? @Pilotmario
@JakeTheDogg Yup.
Fortunately, the 155mm is comparable to your 145mm. Only better, since we took this from a cruiser and bored out the 152mm barrel to a 155mm barrel.
@exosuit But you use it to shoot our guys. And it doesn't kill them. And what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And with this newfound strength, our men can laugh in the face of danger.
@Supermini555 Good timing. We really needed targets that would actually leave the front armor penetrated instead of the front armor, engine block, and rear armor penetrated as well as digging said projectile into the hillside a kilometer behind it.
Im making a tank far more superior than my previous tanks to combat the MBT, so beware...
WHY YOU ALWAYS MAKING FUN OF OUR STUFF ITS OUR STUFF NOT YOURS DUH
@Pilotmario Ok, the tank looks intimidating enough!
My tanks have High-Velocity Autoloaders with some being Ramjet-Assisted, and some can be Manually loaded
Our rounds are APFSDS, HVAPDU (High-Velocity Armor Piercing Depleted Uranium), HVAPIU (High-Velocity Armor Piercing Ionized Uranium), APIA, HEAT, APHE (Anti-Personnell High Explosive), and HEAM/HEAM-BB (High Explosive Anti-Materiel/High Explosive Anti-Materiel-Bunker Buster)
But the most widely used are the HVAPIU, HVAPDU, APFSDS, and the HEAM rounds
@GoldenEagle The 155mm gun, based on a naval weapon, has two shells employed: APFSDS (armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding-sabot, reactive core) and HEAT-GP (high-explosive anti-tank, general purpose). The former round is a tungsten-titanium alloy dart that due to the casting technique, it is self-sharpening. The latter shell is a HEAT round with a fragmenting casing to improve its abilities against infantry targets.
HEP, HE, canister, and smoke are available. However, these are not issued often, and the primary shells are APFSDS and HEAT-GP.
This is also a 155mm 30-stage coilgun. It's a high-velocity gun alright.
@GluonicGaming :(
Kinda, im back online bc my summer vacation ended, but my pc and stuff are still getting fixed, so i probably wont post for a bit @Pilotmario
@Pilotmario This is one of the best! The 155mm main gun could pen anything, with that length, I think that the gun is a med-velocity one, also, what are the rounds used for the gun?
The Armor could withstand a shell ranging from APFSDS to HEAT, but can be penetrated by a High-Velocity Shell, or any strike from the sky
