Two of the Banebryter class saw active service in non-intervention operation during the Northern Rebellion, all ships then returned back to their home waters for peacekeeping operations. The ships were transferred to the new Royal Sovereign Navy following the Unification of States in 2110. The class were divided by the Royal Sovereign Navy and the Royal Sovereign Coast Guard, Six were sent to the Coast Guard while the remaining stayed in the Navy. All ships were present during the 2nd Great War. When the Sanistan Air Force attacked the Port City of Leer, Eight of the ships were present during the attack with four damaged and two in critical condition; the other two were sunk during the attack.
The rest of the class survived the war and currently in service for the Navy and the Coast Guard.
Development
In 2069, The Admiralty of Scandinovia were pursuing the newly adopted "Rask angrepsflåte" which called out for newer ships with no lesser speed of 32 knots and is capable of powerful anti-aircraft duties to supplement it's fleet. The new class will succeed the preceding Varme class and is intended to become a flagship of a small squadron. Same as the preceding class, the ships do not carry helicopters, instead they carry drones for ASW operations.
