Auto Credit Based on lemoose's F-35A Lightning II
For VTOL, use activator 3 and pull both the VTOL and trim slider down. it takes about 25-30% throttle to lift off. the front lift fan throttle is mapped to the pitch control so pull up to pitch the nose up. de-activate #3 once you have control surface command.
For STOL, use activator 3 and pull the trim slider down, but VTOL only to the second notch.
