MIG-31 Description
The Mikoyan MiG-31 (NATO reporting name: Foxhound) is a supersonic interceptor aircraft that was developed for use by the Soviet Air Forces. The aircraft was designed by the Mikoyan design bureau as a replacement for the earlier MiG-25 "Foxbat"; the MiG-31 is based on and shares design elements with the MiG-25.The MiG-31 is among the fastest combat jets in the world.It continues to be operated by the Russian Air Force and the Kazakh Air Force following the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. The Russian Defence Ministry expects the MiG-31 to remain in service until 2030 or beyond; that was confirmed in 2020 when an announcement was made to extend the service lifetime from 2,500 to 3,500 hours on the existing airframes.

That's something I didn't know.
@GuyFolk R-77 is passive radar (aka FOX3), it's not a super long range so i don't think they'd use it on MiG-31.

But I assume R-77 is heat seeking missile, I guess carrying some of that wouldn't hurt.

As i remembered they can install heavy ass long range Air to Air/Ground missiles in wings too.
I don't think they would install R-77 on this particular slow maneuvering jet like this one.

From the look of it, wing loading of 127.4kg/m2 is pretty light for a MiG-31, I guess the real one could be 5 times more.
So it'll be forgiving to fly, no wonder it fly nicely.

@Icecraftgaming @mrcarrot @guyfolk This is such a great build. Goes super fast under afterburners but does not "Snap roll" crazy fast. Same w banking. Turns perfect. Lands at 1% throttle.

Did you guys know that the Mig-31 still holds the record for The FASTEST fighter jet in existence. NO fighter jet in the world is faster than the Foxhound
