The Convair F2Y Sea Dart was a unique American seaplane fighter aircraft that rode on twin hydro-skis for takeoff. It flew only as a prototype, and never entered production. It is the only seaplane so far to have exceeded the speed of sound. Thanks to Authros for the fuselage logos.
Group 1 and VTOL for landing skis
Group 2 and VTOL for trim
Landing is easy but takeoff can be tricky, here's the "how-to":
Set trim to 100% down
At 100MPH, raise skis, full pitch up
Immediately after take-off, set trim to 25% down

Could you make an as accurate as possible F-35?
One of the most unique and dangerous planes made. Nice job!
Awesome! But I think SpiritusRaptor's version flew a little better.
Yay....great job it looks amazing and flies well to
Although I agree with elijthegeat on the cockpit
Nicely done
@ElijtheGeat Ya I thought about trying to build a more 'replica' cockpit out of wing pieces but really wanted a true cockpit there for flying views. Feel free to give it a shot though!
I'm a sucker for replicas of unique aircraft and this one is spot on.
looks pretty geat- only on thing is amiss, you put the cockpit of a convair yf102 instead of the F2Y cockpit. the F2Y cockpit would be very hard to make though. I used to have one of the last F2Ys sitting in the backyard of my school, it was a very interesting plane
@maverickvii A Tupolev Tu-160
@XVIdarkLithium love your vigilon! Sure, what've you got?
