The HAL Tejas X Heavy is the answer to the needs of the aviation of India, to equip the squadron of ground-attack and maritime defense. The project derives from the well-known "HAL Tejas", but it notably increases its size and above all the wing surface, to accommodate a larger quantity of weapons, more fuel and a two-engine design. In exchange for these characteristics, the aircraft has lost the maneuverability of the "HAL Texas" and has seen its maximum speed reduced. In spite of everything, its low observability in the radar, a side-by-side cabin, an excellent weapon system and a 30 mm rotary cannon, make it a great attack aircraft and tank destroyer.
