Auto Credit Based on Vincent's Austin Prop D320
In 2003 the Austrian government issued a requirement for a new turboprop trainer to replace it's aging predecessor the DV-45 Panther.
A Contest between Danta & Volger, Austin Air Industries & Derluger AB to come up with a design meeting the new requirements.
Austin Air Industries won the contract with their new Austin Prop D320-2 featuring the newest of technology & High end performance.
With a Surface ceiling of 63,000 Feet and a top speed of 480 MPH/772 KM/H at 20,000 Feet it was perfect to train new pilots to become experienced fighter pilots.
