The Alaskan B-82 is a long range intercontinental bomber developed in 1953 and entering service in 1955. It was primarily based upon the Convair B-36. The plane uses 8 propeller engines in a push-pull configuration. The plane is armed with 10 Boom 25 bombs. The B-82 was replaced with American built B-52s in 1967, following Alaskan involvement under NATO pressure to join the US in Vietnam. AG1 for carpet bomb, AG2 for cockpit. Fixed cockpit not being attached.
