This has taken me a VERY long time to make, mostly due to how fiddly the landing gear is! Anyway... it folds away as nicely as I can get it to go using the same sort of mechanical movement as the real thing. This newer version tucks away even more nicely than the original in my opinion.
Takeoff is reasonably challenging. You're going to want to use flaps and plenty of rudder control and nose up firmly and she lifts right off.
Also the arrestor hook can be deployed using the trim, which also trims elevators for landing. Combine that w with flaps (VTOL) and come in at about 115 mph and it practically lands itself!!
Folding wings are operated by sliding the trim tab down and using AG6.
