Based on the experimental light Naval fighter, the XF5F Skyrocket, the Thunderscout is a light interceptor and recon aircraft designed for the US Army Air Force.
Prop pitch is set to the VTOL slider and is neutral when centered. VTOL up for forward pitch, and down for reverse.
For take-off, set prop pitch forward about 65 percent, throttle up to full, and pull back on the stick. Once off the ground, throttle back to about 20% and adjust prop pitch to around 70%.
Below 5000 feet this plane operates best at 20% throttle with 60-75% prop pitch. If you notice the prop is beginning to over-speed, increase prop pitch. Should top out around 450 mph.
HAPPY FLYING!
