GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The F/X-18 ‘SEA HORNET’ Is a 5th generation Carrier based, Supersonic, Supermaneuverability, stealth jet attack fighter developed in 2029 by the American Aerospace company, Boeing and Northrop Grumman. The project, originally based from Lockheed Martin ‘F/A-18X’ was designed as a light-air-to-air-night-fighter, developed with Super Cruise for high altitude combat, reinforced landing gear, heavier and bigger airframe and anti-ship TOMAHAWK MISSILES as the main armament.
WAR INFORMATION
In 2021, 15 Hyperhornets that were exported to the Japanese Air Self Defense Force to hold off Chinese invading forces loss crucial focal point coming from the South China sea from occupied Tiawan because of their low range capability to holds of two focal point at the same time and in two different dimensions, air and sea. After the JASDF captured 1 Chengdu J-20, the F/A-18X was modified to achieve speeds of Mach 3.7 to outrun intercepting J-20s, The American on the other hand wanting to focus on their problem at hand. Since the last F/A 18 Super Hornet almost in their end cycle in 2030, the DOD wanting to have replacement carrier based jets where it could fill F/A-18 task while having high stealth characteristic to compete againts J-20 station in the occupied Taiwan's air base. They look no further then the proposed McDonnell Douglas's 'F/A-18 Ultra Hornet' that were eventually be the F/A-18X. With the idea in mind they took Boeing and NG proposal for carrier version and went into test then into production then quickly deployed 16 of them to the South China Sea on board the USS Enterprise and USS Gerald R. Ford. With the TOMAHAWk MISSILES, they sunk 20+ Chinese Frigates and Destroyer. Even the J-20 couldnt keep up to intercept the F/X-18 and suffer even more loss before the F/X-18 succesfully land on their carrier back.
