A light armored car manufactured by Burtallin of Bakroyatal and next variant of the AC-58 series armored cars. Utilises a less bouncy height adjustable suspension system and altered hull. Has a different turret with reduced ergonomics but improved horizontal traverse rate and turret cheeks.

Effective on infantry support and direct fire support roles, not great at intense frontline anti-tank roles.

Sold to the UFN (Union of Free Nations) and their allies on the most recent ongoing Teranivo War.

Lore

While the AC-58 1 variant was in production, the team of the vehicle design figured and discovered to their disappointment that the previous suspension proved to be unstable; and while work on the next variant was under development, combat reports from the Teranivo War regarding the first variant proved to be more of a problem when faced with adversaries in general. While the light armor of the vehicle remained, more pressing concerns had to be looked at especially as the suspension gave the vehicle an unwieldy characteristic of bobbling longitudinally. They decided that the suspension be replaced with a more conventional arrangement and a hydropneumatic suspension of sorts. They also added a separate set of armor placed on the turret cheeks and implemented more powerful turret traverse motors at the cost of ergonomics. Due to said suspension changes, they also made the lower hull of the wheel well area angled inwards to the center to attempt resistance of mines in certain areas. These and other changes resulted in the AC-58 2 variant.
