The AIM-88 Astra Supersonic High Altitude Reconnaissance And Reeentry Vehicle is a sophisticated machine built by AIMtech in response to enemy attacks and terrorist bombings. Using insight from the previous AIM-52 Phalanx Scramjet ICBM, AIMtech developed the Astra. Mounted with 2 Photon collider engines that function as normal jets in earths lower atmosphere. Able to carry a deadly payload of 20 Thermonuclear Missiles able to wipe a region off the map. The name does not suggest all however, as the Astra can be mounted piggypack on another spacecraft and can land on other planet surfaces. Also the Astra can mount a Dimensional Jump Drive for independant travel. The Astra was used with great success during conflict as it would jump onto the enemies radar, devestate the target then jump out again. To this day not one Astra has been caught on radar for more than 15 seconds and has become one of the most feared machines in the galaxy. This peticular one is a Mark.
