SEALION X
D'aero'M SP DIV proudly present research plane Sealion eXperimental . I built this plane about month ago to research negative speeds and plane's behavior in extreme maneuvers . On this plane I tested many things (which I later used in other planes) such as asymmetrical fuel tanks & wings , air brakes , etc. With this plane I achieved my highest negative speed -360mph (which I succesfuly recovered) .
First thought that this plane I won't post here but it's too fun plane (to not post) .
Now , HOW-TO : Plane is bit tail-heavy but it's not problem . There are 3 a. grs : 1- activate first VTOL nozzles pair ; 2- act. 2nd nozzles pair ; 3- act. tail air brake (useful for stable pitching up) . Plane has floats .
Plane can ,,walk" on water : when on water (of course you need some speed) activate both noz. pairs then wait until the nose will be under water and strongly pitch up and hold . If you do it correctly plane should ,,walk" on water .
And if you want to see something wild fly at higher altitude then again act. both noz. pairs and pitch up and look at speed meter .
Plane maybe looks like Su-47 but it's not attempt at Sukhoi's replica (it's not even inspired by '47) . ENJOY !
