USS Monitor-1862 (full scale)

121k asteroidbook345  4.9 years ago

Description:

The USS Monitor was the first ever Union ironclad ship, which was relatively under armed and ineffective. In its first battle against the CSS Virginia (Rebuilt USS Merrimack), the cannonballs from the 280mm cannon balls just bounced off the Virginia’s sloped sides. It was also incredibly slow at only 11kts.

Controls

Act. 1: Start the boilers and all ahead full! (FireGuns for smoke)
VTOL: Aim cannons!
Trim: Anchors aweigh!

Note: you must have the game in nautical measurements in order to have the correct speed (11 kts). Also apparently the railing isn't attached, so it kinda just falls off on the starboard side. You'll have to reconnect it. It didn't do that before I put it up so I have no idea what happened.
