Mostly all of Nanhua Airlines vintage planes like the 707 and DC-8s were still using the classic "Nanhua International Airlines" name, the DC-8-71 is Nanhua Airlines' last DC-8 order after the DC-8 10 series, and 60 series. It was also featured a retro-classic look powered by a modern-like CFM International CFM56-2 jet engines other than using classic JT3D engines.
