Welcome to the great battleship challenge!

Here you can build any battleship from 1906-1945 ranging from the earliest dreadnought to as recent of a battleship as the Montana class.

Definition:

A battleship is a mostly all big gun ship usually used in displaying naval power, mainly in the 20th century. In the context of this challenge, anything from the dreadnought (1906) on which was a quite innovative design which centered around this focus of an “all big guns” design. The dreadnought would lead to many other designs of which many famous ships would come out of. The age of the battleship would come to an end in 1945 as they were realized as obsolete especially with the rise of the aircraft carrier. Battleships after this period in time were mainly relegated to the task of coastal bombardment and firesupport during amphibious landings.

Rules:

1. Must be from 1906 up to 1945, no pre-dreadnoughts.
2. No modern equipment (missiles and others).
3. Jet engines and gyros allowed for control of the ship.
4. Can’t be a copy.
5. Please make it a successor and if not, ask a mod.
6. 10,000 part limit.
7. 4 entries maximum.
8. Can be fictional or replica.
9. Please try and make it realistic.

+5 points for realisticness of the model
+5 points for functionality and features
+5 points for information in description on the ship or if fictional, a good background story
+5 points for good use of parts
+5 points for attention to detail (interior, guns, other aspects of ship, etc.)
