Explaining gyroscopic forces with math is stupid, so I made this demo. This exposes the internal forces inside a spinning wheel. Camera 1 shows gyroscopic torque, and Camera 3 shows precession. This wheel is made of disconnected mass blocks, and form a semi transparent ring when spinning (vtol input). This ring can be seen tilting in responce to accelerating the wheel around a hinge (pitch input), mimicking gravitational acceleration. The wheel produces no gyroscopic forces since the wheel is not solid. In a real gyroscope, the stiffness of a solid wheel resists where the mass blocks of the demo's wheel want to go (the tilt), creating gyroscopic torque and precession.

I love this! People Dont realize simple planes has a really good physics engine ifg you know how to use it. Also Yeah Math is Stupid
