Now for the backstory.

A while back we purchased a damaged 1947 Erco Ercoupe. The firewall was badly damaged due to a nose wheel collapse and the center-section was lightly damaged. We decided that the damaged aircraft wasn't worth the time and cost involved in repairing it to flight status. So we started talking about building a car out of it and this is one concept that I came up with a while back. Then more recently I started messing around with the concept and am currently making new design sketches for the full size project that will hopefully be on the road soon.
