[Description]

"M-43" is a Medium Tank designed in 1943, during the 1st Continental War. It's a great tank since it's front armour were enough against many projectiles in the early 40s; And even it have thick front armour, the tank still can up to 60km/h (36.8mph, 32kn).

M-43 originally used by the Norditian , but after the Norditian revolution, the tanks was captured by the rebels: Nekoslavia, they started getting produce and export to the allies.

However, since the ADFS, HEATs and HVAPs with stronger Cannons started appearing in the 50s, M-43 armour start getting weak to against those strong shells and M-43s were getting put into the backup team.

The production were ceased at 1955. The remaining M-43 were used in the Vawan - Sheznovakia war and the
2nd continental war, near 94% of them were destroyed during the 2nd continental war.

Only 3 M-43 were survived and became the Exhibits in the Museum of Continental War.

[History]

Most of the original documents were burned by the Norditian military before they fall, in addition the M-43 was a Secret project that even the Former Norditian Soldiers and the Generals don't know too much about it, so the information were limited.

The beginning

About the date of the project begin, M-43 was started designing in 1939, as the Old Tanks were only enough for against the Troops. But the Anti-Tank weapons started appearing very quickly and even troops can carry it, and so the M-43 project was born.

According to some former Norditian Soldiers and Generals, M-43's first battle was the "Battle of Melagiv City" in 1940, they receive order to stop the enemy tank with 2 M-43 and few Light tanks. The M-43 were equipped with 90mm Cannon, and so it can carry around 62 ammos. On that day, the 2 M-43s had total 92 confirmed kills on the enemy tanks, and the Norditian has won the battle without losing any friendly tanks.

And after that, M-43 start getting more fantastic record on each battle. It helped Norditian a lot for defending themselves against the "United Power"

The first loss was the "Kalilin Highland Armoured Battle" in 1942, a group of M-43 was fighting against a massive amount of a enemies. The M-43 no.439 was got hit by 2 APHE from the right side armour in the hull, the first shell damaged the crew; serval seconds later the second shell hit the engine and destroyed the engine. All 3 crews were survived but 2 of them were heavily injured by the fragments from the APHE.
The crews were invited for a interview after the 1st continental war and they said that if the shell go a bit more to the right, it will detonate the ammunition and all of them will be killed.

In the middle of the war

As the cannon and shell are started getting better in 1943, M-43 start losing the advantage of the armour. And it started having more and more losses in the battles as the shell can penetrate M-43's front armour.

During the Norditian revolution in the 1947

The M-43 were only used for protecting the borders as The Norditian government refuse to kill the rebels due to the continent's situation.
After Nekoslavia took control to the country, the remaining Norditian army gave some M-43 to the Nekoslavia army and they both team together to against the "United Power" until the 1st continental war ended.

The Vawan - Sheznovakia war

The M-43 was used by the Sheznovakia army and the "Mikayae rebellion forces" to against the Vawan "Freedom" series tank.
The Sheznovakia and Mikayae won the war, and the M-43 were used as the first tank of the Mikayae Republic.

The 2nd Continental War

The M-43's armour can't stand against the New Anti Tank weapons anymore. But compare to the MBTs in the 60s, the M-43 were much simple to control and it won't rely to the latest technology too much; so they were still used as a support or a alternative damage dealer.
Unfortunately, a lots of M-43 were destroyed during this 34 years war. However, they still killed many MBTs with it's new 122mm cannon.

After War

Many remaining M-43 were scrapped to make more material for the modern MBTs.
There's only 3 M-43 remaining after the war, they were donated to the "Museum of Continental War" for Exhibition.
