The following is adapted from a real event. In 1970, the Republic of China required all airlines registered in Taiwan to phase out piston aircraft (such as DC3, DC4, C46, ??etc.). China Airlines chose the same engine as the YS11. There were 6 Fokker 27 turboprop aircraft produced by Fokker in the Netherlands. They were retired in 1990 and replaced by DHC-8 and ATR72.
