This plane is perfectly made to do ultrashort landings! But it has some unconventional controls. Read well! It has a propeller with variable pitch. So you first have to set the power (50%) with the Trim-Control on the right! Then you set the propeller pitch to about 2/3 with Vtol on the left. Note: with different speeds you have to adjust the propeller pitch for optimal acceleration. For getting slower in the air, use the reverse propeller pitch. Approach the aircraft carrier with about 80-85 knots. Then, just before landing, reverse the propeller pitch to about -50% and slam on the breaks. Using the wheel breaks has a second effect: it raises the nose by turning the horizontal stabilizer up. Max speed of this plane: 450 knots. Max ceiling: 41000feet.
