Imperia Type 211.M1 is a piston-engined fighter aircraft of the WW2. It was designed to intercept, escort and destroy fighters and bombers. It has a back-swiped wing, pulling propeller and 'tailless' aerodynamic configuration. Its outstanding perfomance and maneuverability made it famous and Type 211.M1 became one of the best piston-engined batch-produced fighter of the WW2. There were around 180 airplanes built from 1943 to 1946.
