Technically actually a VTO-SL as it cant vertically land (or atleast ive not been able to vertically land it). Use AC 1 and brake to activate airbrake banks. LANDING SEQUENCE: lower to 50% throttle, when getting very close to land go to 0 throttle. Shortly after but still before touchdown use AC 1+Break to trigger the airbrakes, continue breaking and hit touchdown. If runway is still to short then while breaking put vtol into reverse position. Use vtol to decrease speed then.

@karlosdarkness Guess thats a method to approach it. Anyway. I might get you to balance some VTOL's on the next VTOL craft I make. im terrible at getting them to stay level.

Put the airbrakes on to activate off the vtol and invert the action. Then if you slam the thrusters on backwards you get full brakes as well.

@karlosdarkness hence why you don't glide into a landing and you go high speed the high speed reduction. The stalling then puts it onto runway. The air brake are only suitable while on a runway, and actually are slightly weaker then the reverse vtols. Thus the airbrake could be used in a full runway landing, but if there was a bumpy off road landing vtols could be used after airbrake initial activation.

Basic is it goes into a wing stall at about 120mph and you loose directional control at that point.

You can ram the thrusters into reverse on this you just have no roll control to keep it steady when you do, also thrusting disables your airbrakes so it's counter productive.

@karlosdarkness well, I didn't fancy going through my downloaded mod rack again. God it's slow to do that on my iPad. Anyway, vertical landing needs backwards facing thrusters.

Takes off nicely in the vertical, flies competently but definitely isn't suitable to try vertical landing in. Also don't think the weapons load looks right for this aircraft but that's just an opinion.
