Ramiel was an experiment ship build in 1944 programme to test the value of a cruiser-like destroyer. She had a standard displacement of 4,550 tons. She was reclassified as a scout cruiser later. She carried the first dual-purpose gun that carry a fire control radar on its own. She was also capable of laying mines or sweep mines. She has a maximum speed of 39.5 knots but over 40 knots were reached during trials. She is now reserved as a museum ship.
