simpl warbird challenge
simpl warbird challenge
its a simple warbird challenge. Cuz im bored and I want to see some designs
but...
What is a warbird?
A warbird is an vintage plane that has gone to war somewhere, survived it and now flies with a civilian operator. That means, in this challenge you must create a non-experimental, somewhat realistic aircraft that entered full service with some military. Planes like a P-51, Bf-109, etc.
Some examples:
However, what isnt a warbird is:
Because it isnt a military service aircraft, but a experimental plane made by gasoline smellers
So yeah. It is a military plane thats cheap enough to be operated so that civilians can fly it. It can be a jet, a prop, a glider, anything!
(I dont care if it is the wrong definition of a warbird. On my challenge it is)
Rules
none really, just keep things simple, and follow my definition of warbird.
Prize

@Blackbird7
@Numbers2 i wouldnt count a F-4 as a warbird
But an A-4 prob would, at least on earlier variants
Would planes like the F-4 Phantom II and the A-4 Skyhawk count?
Interesting... I'm in.
