ARCA's AirStrato 002 + Launching platform
I think this is the most time-consuming project that i ever made in SP. This is an romanian/north-american research drone, developed by ARCA(the romanian cosmonautics and aerodinamics agency). Her role is to get scientific aparatus at high altitudes, for long periods of time and at a very cheap price. She uses electric motors and solar panels, wich lowers the cost of an stratospheric flight. She can carry 45 kilos of equipment/auxiliary batteries on board. It's currently under development at Arca's space center, in New Mexico. BACK TO THE REPLICA: I've added the launching platform used at the real plane, but i used a diffrent desing for it, due to the complexity of the real one. LAUNCHING PROCEDURE:1-take the VTOL bar full down.2-turn on the engines,3-trim max down,4-press AG2 to activate the detacher. ACTION GROUPS:-AG1 parachutes (even the real plane has them, but i didn't find the schematichs with their place on the plane, so i did mh best to put them in key-spots)-AG 2 LAUNCH (be sure to have the VTOL bar at max down)-AG3 +VTOL TO USE THE FLAPS (if you can call them like that). Yoda and Gollum bless u and i wish u lots of fun;)
