F/A-55 Challenger
History
With Russia acting a 'Lil sus, The USAF Navy put out a Naval Plane Request through several companies, those of which included Grumman, Northrop, and Vought. The FAC also received the request, but took a long time to develop a naval fighter due to experimenting with jet technology. 1978 The prototype XF/A-55 was rolled out of the hangar. The design was a standard wing set, with the usual main wing, and T-tail to avoid jet blast from destroying the tail section. Powered by two General Electric F-100 GE 400 jet engines, the plane could fly up to Mach 2.19. Although similar to the F-14 in Turn, Carrier capability, weight, and a 2 mph/1 knot difference in Stall. The F/A-55 is smaller and less complicated than its larger cousin. It came with a flaw. Due to how small it was, fuel was an issue. To get the most out of the plane fuel tanks were fitted into every nook and cranny in the fuselage, which meant one incendiary round would set it on fire, and even if the self-sealing fuel tanks do their bit the plane would have to go through a massive overhaul, increasing repair costs. These planes were only given to Special pilots and Rio's with at least 20 Kills and have to undergo rigorous training, to pilot this. By 1991 FAC closed production after deeming the plane "Too stressful to build," And by 1993 all F/A-55 were retired, only 10 of them survived to this day with only one proven airworthy...

@EternalDarkness @LieutenantSOT, Thank you both! guess I'll work on the other one now!
@EternalDarkness thank you so much
@LieutenantSOT sure.
@LieutenantSOT, @EternalDarkness, It's fine I found a problem with the plane, and something I wanna add to make it more realistic. Thank you for your effort.
@LieutenantSOT yeah it happened once and decided to give up, this build was stressful, but I learnt a lot of things leading to how to make cockpit and using the new glass. I've been knocked by school so 1.10 is new to me. So really this is my first build in a while.
@FearlessAce but please don't rely on the moderators, they already have a ton of work. But it is not your fault
@FearlessAce lol, you're fine! I don't really know how to explain it other than that
@LieutenantSOT ah yes, well, that was a bit straightforward I guess... Thanks
@eternaldarkness, could you please make this post a successor to this post? Thank you so much. Sorry to be a burden on your time.
@FearlessAce you... ask... them?
How though @LieutenantSOT, should I just re post it, I can do in game pics now!
I like it, though!
@FearlessAce ask a moderator to make it a successor, just make sure to leave the link of my Challenge here
Yes, what shall we doooo
Long road to gold @FearlessAce @Simps
