The army needed a new military ambulance, and the original ambulance from WWII was old, slow, and unreliable. Eiro was sued for the 6 deaths caused because of the original ambulance's problems. Then, in 1997, almost 60 years after the old ambulance was made, a designer at Eiro made this. It was fast, reliable, and very durable. Eiro started manufacturing it in 2001.
