Designed in 1944, the Nakajima KI-302 fighter was meant as a low-altitude interceptor, and could also be used in the close-air-support role. Only one aircraft was ever made, and due to extensive damage from Allied bombing, has not been restored yet. While the pilot is unknown, the aircraft is credited with 14 kills. Currently, it sits awaiting restoration at the Aerostyle Military Archive facility.
