However, when the Coastal War (1980-1981) broke out, she was handed over to the Navy and used her vaunted speed to transport refugees and supplies from the Jusibiras. After the war ended, she was returned to Katsvarden Cruises and sailed the world's oceans for seven years before being dismantled in 1999
