Auto Credit Based on JoesPlanes's Delta wing challenge CLOSED
Now ive been exploring with delta wings recently. Check this out, start in mid air and use pitch contral. It wont do anything, despite 2 huge contral surfaces on Delta Wing and 2 tiny surfaces on Canards. I will be exploring this more for a better understanding, but this effect is really cool.

I think I have an answer to this. Wings exert their forces on the root chord of the wing (the part where it joins the body), roughly one quarter back from the front. On your plane that's pretty much dead on the centre of mass, so the force has no leverage to work with.
