I figured that since I had already built the Molot, it was only a hop, skip and a tiny jump to build a BUFF, using the Molot as a basis...
Long story short; it wasnt.
But after many CTDTs and much swearing here it is. My take on the B-52 Stratofortress.
Very easy to fly - open the taps and trim up slightly. Roll is a bit sluggish, but she is an easy kite to fly. Much less likely than the Molot to self destruct in a dive, too.
VTOL up opens the bomb bay. VTOL to neutral to close again.

This is pretty nice, captures the Buff's shape pretty well, I should say.
