I used fuselage blocks. The plane is so slim because I didnt know how to make a proper cockpit with a body which is wider.
just look at the "jurassic park 3"-plane made from DROSLASH
flies good enough for a beginner. but you should use fuselage blocks for the main part so you can do a round and more "3D" plane.
