While the RV-8 is the poor man's Mustang the RV-8R is the poor man's Hellcat! The Vans RC-8R is a customized Vans RV-8 with a Rotec R-3600 radial engine, built by Brian Kelly in Spruce Creek, Florida. The RV-8R was built to look like a miniature version of the F6F Hellcat. It was completed in 2016 and still flies today. Since this plane was built from scratch by myself, it has nice STOL characteristics. Stalls ~75 mph.

Try mirroring the plane. If that doesn't work, make sure your vertical stabilizer is a symmetric airfoil @planemack

Really? Interesting, there are a lot near me! It is a different propeller than what came on the aircraft, but the old one still had 3 blades @Unstable
