AXF-78 ‘Higanbana’ Block II
Oyasumi AXF-78 'Higanbana' Block II
Late Fifth-Generation Air Superiority Fighter
It took me way too long to update this thing to current version standards, but it's now been rebooted and improved with all-new features and quality of life improvements.

Intro:
Introduced 3 years after the first deployment of the AXF-78 'Higanbana' Block I, the Block II features newly developed avionics and a revamped flight model. These provide the new fighter with unparalleled low-medium speed maneuverability and post-stall controllability, allowing it to turn at rates exceeding 30 deg/sec in combat conditions. A configurable G-limiter and pitch-sensitivity setting have been installed to optimize fly-by-wire outputs for either maximum agility or low-speed stability. Cockpit improvements have been made to vastly improve situational awareness, communication, and diagnostic operations on the aircraft. With these avionics upgrades allowing for additional special armaments to be equipped, the Higanbana continues to be a highly capable air superiority fighter well into the mid 21st century.
