Paladin-Class Star Destroyer

Designed directly after the Battle of Yavin, the Empire quickly realized the flaws that existed in all current ISDs (Imperial Star Destroyers). The Paladin-Class arose to deal with some of the issues, including far-too-exposed shield generators, a lack of point-defense weapons, and a lack of protection from fighters or bombers attacking from below. The Paladin, while still attempting to be relatively inexpensive, did include better protection from attacking ships, as well as having two interdiction field generators that could pull ships out of Hyperspace. Three prototypes were built before the Battle of Endor, where two were sent to defend the second Death Star. Both were lost from Rebel attacks. The third and Final Paladin was then sent to Jakku, where it was heavily damaged and escaped into Hyperspace.

Overall I will say the design of this ship looks amazing btw
Now I have the problem that there is a Canon Paladin class, however it is a corvette, being the crucible, the jedi lightsaber building ship, Professor Huyang, the 1000+ year old architect droid serves on it, teaching the art of lightsaber construction. It was featured in Clone Wars episodes- Raid on the Crucible, and Rescue on florum. @DestinyAviation You don't have to do anything, but for it to make since it needs a new name.

@Devilchicken365 ;)
Yes yes good point@JediWolf
@Devilchicken365 or stolen by rebel/resistance scum!
The second word is subpage to be “because” stupid auto correct
Ok wise I looked at a side-by-side comparison and the corvette and destroyer were very similar and for the third destroyer either picked up by the first order, found floating in space and scraped, or flew into a star
@Devilchicken365 Thank you for the compliment! This is not related to the Corvus, but as you can imagine, the two ships probably were designed by the same people, just with different philosophies for the two classes. And the third ship escaped and hasn't been seen since (or, if you'd like, you can make up a story for it).
Good job is this in anyway related after the feuded class corvet (ie: the Corvus (battlefront 2 campaign))
Because I remember the raiders were designed in that time frame and built for the same reasons + to fill the gap between fighters and capital ships but mass produced, not just prototypes. Also where’s the third destroyer.

This is freaking awesome looking! Definitely one of the cooler space crafts I've seen, great job!
