The Su-57 (design code name: I-21/T-50) is a single-seat, twin-engine stealth multi-role heavy fighter of the Russian Air Force. It is the fifth generation fighter of Russia (known as the fourth generation fighter in western countries).

The Su-57 has a maximum takeoff weight of 35,000 kilograms, a supersonic cruising speed of 1,450 kilometers per hour, a maximum speed of 2140 to 2,600 kilometers per hour, a combat radius of 1,200 kilometers, and a combat load of up to 6 tons. It has four built-in weapon bays, which can achieve a good combination of flight performance and stealth performance, and is capable of air combat and ground attack. It has the characteristics of good stealth performance, short take-off and landing distance, super maneuverability and supersonic cruise.

The Su-57, developed from Russia's PAK FA program and formerly known as the T-50, made its first flight on January 29, 2010. From 2010 to the fall of 2015, five PROTOTYPES of the T-50 completed 700 test flights, many of which underwent lengthy maintenance; It was officially designated su-57 on 11 August 2017; Russia plans to replace the Su-27 as a counterweight to the U.S. F-22. On January 29, 2021, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially received Russia's first mass-produced Su-57 fighter.

Sputnik news agency reported on June 15, 2021 that Igor Korotchenko, director of the Russian Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade, said that Russia's two-seat version of the fifth-generation fighter su-57 has a good export prospect, including in India and countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
