Locomotive type: Dongfeng 4DK (DF4DK)
Dongfeng 4D quasi-high-speed passenger diesel locomotive has the following main improvements:
(1) diesel engine. Has been installed with 16V240ZJE diesel engine, loading power 3310kW (5000 horsepower). After retrofitting the 16V240ZJD diesel engine, the loading power is still 2940kW (4000 horsepower).
(2) Bogie. It is equipped with two traction motor frame suspended three-axle bogies, a wheelset hollow shaft and a two-stage six-rod drive device, and a parallel structure of inner and outer ring round springs and oil shock absorbers in the first series suspension. the second series suspension adopts two groups of high round springs and damping pads, and is equipped with vertical, lateral and anti-snaking shock absorbers.
(3) traction motor. From ZD109B to ZD106.
(4) traction performance of locomotives. The maximum speed of the locomotive is changed to 170km/h, the continuous speed is 51.8km/h, the continuous traction force is 160.9kN, and the starting traction force is 232.7kN.
