CRJ-700
Sorry, I had to redo it in order to add some details.
Hello everyone
Version 1.0.3
The Bombardier CRJ700, CRJ900 and CRJ1000 are regional aircraft based on the Bombardier CRJ200. The aircraft is assembled in Montreal.
Design work on the CRJ700 was started by Bombardier in 1995 based on the CRJ200 version, the program was officially launched in January 1997. The first flight took place on May 27, 1999. The FAA type certificate designates the CRJ700 as CL-600-2C10[3]. The first commercial flight CRJ700 was operated by Brit Air in 2001.
The CRJ700 has an elongated and slightly expanded fuselage, a new wing with slats, and a lowered floor line compared to the CRJ200. The CRJ700 is equipped with CF34-8C1 engines manufactured by General Electric. The maximum speed is 895 km/h. Depending on the load, the CRJ700 can have a range of up to 3,620 km; the new version of the aircraft with CF34-8C5 engines will have a range of up to 4,660 km. The CRJ700 is available in three series: 700 series, with a seating capacity of up to 68 seats; 701 series, with a seating capacity of up to 70 seats; 702 series, with a seating capacity of up to 78 seats. The CRJ700 also has three modifications in terms of fuel capacity and gross weight: standard, ER and LR. The ER and LR variants have an increased fuel reserve and take-off weight, which allows for increased range. An administrative and business modification of the aircraft has also been created, which has the trade name Challenger 870.
In 2008, the CRJ700 was replaced by the CRJ700 NextGen, unified with the CRJ900 NextGen and CRJ1000 NextGen modifications. In January 2011, SkyWest Airlines ordered four CRJ700 NextGen
