The Cessna 337 Skymaster is a pusher-puller design. By building my own VTOL propellers for it, there is a push-pull thrust. SET VTOL to 4th bar from the top, full throttle. Airframe vibrations at takeoff smooth out once you're level.

50.4k Stingray@mattmck Thx for rating, this had maybe test weapons in Vietnam as an USAF O-2 rescue plane, don't know too much about that. They had great long-range endurance, were used for military observation.9.6 years ago

50.4k StingrayBad habit, was up to 3 AM my time. At midnight I'd built 3 working versions of the Skymaster that did not please me in some way, so I re-built it from scratch, posted it then. Need to stop doing that... @TheLatentImage9.6 years ago

50.4k StingrayThx @TheLatentImage Yes one set of nozzles is entirely inverted, for rotation canceling with the rear. Just one nozzle - I'll go look again, I posted this fairly late.9.6 years ago

50.4k StingrayTried them on version 1, need to double plane size: wing/cockpit/tail-boom to accommodate it, might do a larger build someday @PlanesOfOld9.6 years ago

Mod TheLatentImageNoce build there buddy. This is pretty cool. I did notice that one of the vtol nozzles on the front prop is inverted, causing the wobble. Looking at the aircraft from the nose it is then prop on the right, I believe. I changed that one and it evened right out. Good stuff man.9.6 years ago
