Auto Credit Based on RussianAce's GAZ Tiger Kornet-M
The Tiuna is a multipurpose vehicle built by the Compañía Anónima de Industrias Militares de Venezuela, with the idea of ??creating its own vehicle for use by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces. General Aaron Katz designed the car based on the platform of the URO and HUMVEE vehicles;12 however both the vehicle's engine and transmission are imported components. The construction of this type of vehicle for civil purposes has also been offered.3 It is known that more than 2,000 UR-53AR50 Tiuna vehicles were ordered by the Venezuelan Ministry of Defense, for a total cost of approximately 600 million dollars, which were delivered by February 2009.
