Lockheed P-38 Lightning (armed)

Armed and ready for dogfights and ground attack missions. This armed P-38 features four nose mounted machine guns, and two wing mounted rocket pods. Pit P-38 against P-38, or find a nifty Zero model and reenact some of WII's pacific theater dogfights.
AG-3 drops fuel tanks (I recommend doing this when starting a dog-fight mission as it improves maneuverability slightly.
Happy Flying!

@FrozenYoghurt Some day I plan to revisit this plane and do a full rebuild. Don't know when that will be, however.
Would you mind creating one with later J/L air intakes? I like those more. Besides from that, amazing aircraft. Perfect realization of my all time fav WW2 aircraft!
Edit:
May it be that the outer wings (from the booms out) are a bit too small? I mean wingspan wise...
You can use my zero!
@A5mod3us you should check out my P-38G-1
This is great work! I was thinking about building a P-38 as my second project. I love seeing simple and beautiful builds like this!
I can't wait to see nail the update. I can't stand feeling outdated or slow@A5mod3us
@FighterCrafter14 Ah, yeah. Well, they did have rockets during the war, but my only option for that is rocket pods. Otherwise I would have rather had rocket racks, like in WWII.
No I mean in relation to the time era@A5mod3us
Cuts enemy bombers wings with ease
@FighterCrafter14 The guns should be pretty accurate. The rockets tend to fire a bit below the reticle, but that has to due with the way the game handles weapons.
Weapons aren't too accurate to the era of use but it looks amazing
