Philippine Airlines orders (around) 10 to 12 B777-300ER for B747-400 replacement in late 2000s. The b777 is capable to fly from Philippines to US nonstop. there are only 2 B777 were retired from PAL's fleet due to Bankruptcy in 2020-2021
