Y-TIE

47.8k FlyingThings  7.1 years ago

Classified as an "Ugly" figther, the Y-TIE is a mix out of the front section of an Y-Wing and the Solar Panels and engine of a TIE fighter.
I worked about 12 hours on this to give it a good look. I also gave it an acceptable cockpit. Have fun while flying and dont forget to try that cockpit view.

@Maxwell1 It was called that for the same reason that the B-26 Marauder was called the Widowmaker.

@PyrusEnderhunter umm, no its the right one. The TIE-Wing is the TIE cockpit with Y-Wing engines. Also nicknamed the Die-Wing because it has no shields.

Actually, I think this is the wrong ship. The Y-Tie is actually a Tie-fighter cockpit with Y-wing engines. It was also referred to as "The Die-Tie"

@DemonSniper8 they are classified as "Ugly" in the star wars universe. An ugly is a mix between two fighters that were either scrapped or taken apart to compine their powers.
