Le-6 Pointer
In true Lewcorp Aerodynamics fashion we take all of our general aviation styling cues from the 1950s. You won't find fancy carbon fibers, resins and jet propulsion in our dirty old hanger at the end of the municipal airport access road... just Aluminum, rivets, and props.
Much like its predecessor, the Le-5 Sighthound, the Le-6 was largely inspired by the Erco Ercoupe, only with a modern engine, extended nacelle, updated two person cockpit, and retracting landing gear. The Le-6 Pointer is a two seater with exceptional stability and simplicity that makes for a great trainer. or all around set of wings for the aviation enthusiast.
This version is presented in resplendent polished aluminum with a black and gold two tone paint job. The cockpit has been made a bit more sporty with a stick instead of yolk, navigational display and much more comfortable seats. For your convenience we even included a step on the right wing to aid in mounting your faithful steed.
Instructions are quite simple- Full Throttle for take off. With neutral trim it is very close to level at full throttle and 117 mph. AG 1 turns on the position, anti-collision and landing lights and also lights up the instruments in the cockpit. To land, throttle back to about 35% and ease it on down to sweet mother earth. The pointer should take off and land quite easily and is fairly stable at low air speeds. Take the Pointer for a spin, go practice some stalls or do some sunset sightseeing around the islands, either way, please enjoy.
